Halloween sayings are fun for cards, decorations, crafts, or passing around on your favorite social sites. I get really excited for Halloween, because it is the first holiday of the "holiday season." Dressing up, candy, parties, and spooky decorations. Who wouldn't love this holiday? Have fun with these Halloween sayings and poems.
You say WITCH like its a bad thing!
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble. -Shakespeare in Macbeth
Goblins. Witches. Ghosts. Bats.
Mind your mummy!
Free Broom Rides.
You are Bootiful.
You are fangtastic!
Now welcoming candy collectors.
Eat, drink, and be scary.
Don't make me call the flying monkeys.
It's all about the candy.
"The Great Pumpkin rises up from the pumpkin patch and gives toys to good little
girls and boys."
- Linus (It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown)
Rattle them bones!
When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam,
May luck be yours on Halloween. -Author Unknown
IT'S HALLOWEEN -Jack Prelutsky
It's Halloween! It's Halloween!
The moon is full and bright
And we shall see what can't be seen
On any other night.
Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls,
Grinning goblins fighting duels,
Werewolves rising from their tombs,
Witches on their magic brooms.
In masks and gowns
we haunt the street
And knock on doors
for trick or treat.
Tonight we are
the king and queen,
For oh tonight
A Trick of a Treat -Nancy Hughes
Dressed up little creatures
on a dark October night
run from door to door
giving everyone a fright.
They come and ring your doorbell
and before they will retreat,
they beg you for some candy
by yelling "trick or treat".
When their bags are full,
they run home to eat their fill.
They taste a bit of everything
and by morning they are ill!
So to keep the youngsters healthy,
I've figured out a deal.
This year instead of candy,
I'll give them all oatmeal!

The clock is striking midnight
The witch her spell has cast
All fairies, ghosts and goblins
Will be conjured from the past
May Jack-o-lanterns burning bright
Of soft and golden hue
Pierce through the future’s veil and show
What fate now holds for you. -Author Unknown
If you've got it- haunt it!
Ghouls night out!
